Ms. Rivas holds a clinical license for bicultural and multilingual social worker. She has more than 13 years' experience with non-profit organizations. She has worked with a variety of groups, including LGBTQ+, individuals with addiction issues, those who have suffered of violence and sexual assault in intimate relationships, etc. In 2019 she has been working with Ms. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. She is currently offering Telehealth Behavioral Health services. Mrs. Rivas belongs to the Perinatal team for Behavioral Health that works with pregnancies women and postpartum mothers. She has been trained in adult and trauma-informed EMDR. She also offers Individual and Group Therapy and Medication-Assisted Treatment programs, referrals to specialty care Women's Support group. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, aiding homeless animals to find permanent homes. She believes in the slogan from Best Friends, "Save Them All" She is determined to turn Los Angeles into a city where animals aren't killed. Amanda pushes her limits in order to achieve her goals.
