Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox, who studied for three years at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. She was able to survive on a student allowance and worked part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox was a student in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy in her performance when compared to that of the other students. Then she began to consider different options. Lennox played flute with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band before the band was requested to take part in I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she served as the main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop group. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox was later able to release her first solo album Diva. The album was released in the year 1992. It was a massive critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was launched in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite blues, soul and jazz tunes. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox released Lepidoptera an album comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. This album is a companion piece to her album Now I Let it go... artwork that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This is also her first self-released album. Lennox made her debut as a solo artist in 1992 when she released the album of Diva, which featured many of her most popular tracks like Why and the song Walking On Broken Glass. Medusa the album she released in 1995 includes cover versions of tracks including No MoreI I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale.
